WOOIL T&A Case Study

At WOOIL T&A, we set out to introduce our own supplement line in South Korea, aiming to bring a fresh and innovative product to market that’s based on algae. However, the regulatory landscape posed challenges that could have significantly delayed or even derailed our launch. We needed expert guidance to ensure our formula and packaging adhered to South Korea’s stringent regulations, particularly for products classified as supplements versus medical items.

We were fortunate to consult with D’accord Partners, and their expertise proved invaluable. Early in the process, Rob and the D’accord team identified a critical issue: one of our ingredients would have been classified as a medical substance under South Korean law. Acting on their guidance, we made essential adjustments to both our formula and packaging to align with local requirements.

Thanks to D’accord Partners’ timely insights and support, we were able to avoid costly production mistakes and bring our supplement line to market seamlessly. Their thorough understanding of South Korea’s regulatory environment enabled us to launch successfully across major hypermarkets and 7-Elevens, reaching a wide consumer base right from the start.
